| I started in Astronomy fifteen years ago when I bought a 99$ Bushnell 4.5 inch reflector telescope. Although it was a cheap scope I bought good lenses and a new primary mirror to improve the performance and I was hooked. I soon wanted to learn more and navigated to a page of a man who is famous in the astronomical community, Mel Bartels. He showed me how I could build my own Scope at a fraction of the cost of buying the big scopes. ever since that day I have turned a hobby into a life long adventure. |

| I have since built my own 10″ computerized telescope and bought an 8″ equatorial mount telescope from Orion Telescopes. I added a few electronics to make it a GoTo system as with my 10″ scope. I hope my astronomy page will be as fun and informative for you as astronomy has been for me. | |
